TACOS

                         

                                                                     TACOS

A Taco is a traditional Mexican food consisting of a small hand-sized corn-or wheat-based tortilla with a filling. The tortilla is then folded around the filling and eaten by hand. 

INGREDIANTS:

     For the filling 
  • 1 Pound ground beef 
  •  1/2 cup water 
  •  1 packet of seasoning mix 
  •  2 cloves garlic, minced.
  • 1 Small onion, chopped.

      For assembling

  • Topping of your choice (lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, salsa, sour cream etc.)
  • 10 small tacos shells or tortillas.

INSTRUCTIONS: 

  •  In a large skillet Cook the chopped onions and minced garlic over medium heat until they become translucent. 
  • Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook it, breaking it up with a spatula, until it's browned and cooked through.
  • Drain any excess fat from the skillet. 
  • Sprinkle the taco seasoning mix over the cooked, beef and add the water. Stir to combine, and simmer for a few minutes until the mixture thickens.
  • Warm the taco shells or tortillas according to the package instructions. 
  • Assemble your tacos by spooning the seasoned beef mixture into each shell or sour cream. 
  • Sever your delicious beef tacos and enjoy! 

        Feel free to customize your tacos with your favorite ingredients and adjust the seasoning to your taste. You can also use other protein sources like chicken, fish, or beans for different types of tacos.
