Margherita Pizza

 Classic Margherita Pizza

         Margherita Pizza is one of the most iconic and traditional pizza varieties in Italian cuisine. It is known for its simplicity and features a few ingrediants.

Ingredients :

       For the pizza dough:

           .11/2 Teaspoons salt

           . 2 Tablespoons olive oil

            .31/4 Purpose _ flour

            .1Teaspoon sugar

            .2 1/4 Active dry yeast

            .1 1/2 Cups warm water(around 11oF or 43oc)

      For the Pizza topping:

      .1Cup tomato source (homemade or store bought)

           .8 Ounces fresh mozzarella cheese spliced 

      .Fresh basil leaves

      .Olive oil for drizzling 

          .Salt and black paper to taste

Instructions:

      1  Prepare the Pizza Dough:

      .In a small bowl , combine the warm water, active dry yeast 

         and sugar. Let it sit for about 5 to 10 minutes until it become

         frothy.   

       .In a big mixing bowl combine the flour and salt.  

       .Pour the yeast mixture and olive oil into the flour  mixture 

        stir until a dough forms.

       .Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 to 7 minutes

        until it become smooth and elastic.

        .Place the dough into a lightly  oiled bowled and cover it with a 

         clean kitchen towel or use plastic wrap, and let it rise for about

          one or two hours or until it double in size.

    2 Preheat the oven:

      .   Preheat the oven to the highest temperature it can go, typically

         around 500oF (260oC) or higher. If you have a pizza stone, place 

         it in oven while it preheats.

      Shape the pizza: 

       . Once the dough has risen, punch down and divide into two equal  portions for two pizzas, then roll out each portion of dough on a  floured surface into a thin circle or any other shape depending on your preference.

   4 Assemble the Pizza:

    . Place the rolled _out dough on a pizza peel or a baking sheet linked with parchment paper then, spread half of the tomato source evenly over the dough leaving a board around the edges.

  .Arrange slice of fresh mozzarella cheese on top sauce.

  .Tear fresh basil leaves and scatter them over the cheese.

   . Drizzle a little olive oil over the top and season with black pepper and salt.

    5 Bake the Pizza:

        .If you are using a pizza stone, carefully side the pizza into

              the hot stone in oven.

           .Bake for about 10 to 13 minutes or until the crust is golden brown 

             and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.

        Serve: 

            Remove your Pizza from oven, slice it and enjoy your

                   hot Margherita Pizza. Enjoy your homemade Margherita Pizza
